Francisco Gaspar Tomás López was born in Villena (Alicante, Spain) the 16th October, 1990. Started studying trumpet at the age 6 at Villena’s Music Conservatory.

Received classes by Leopoldo Vidal, José Javier Pastor, Enrique Abello and Reinhold Ambros (Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra and Vienna State Opera Orchestra). Joined master-classes with Reinhold Friedrich, Manuel Blanco, Pierre Badel, Joe Burgstaller, Luis González, Allen Vizzutti, Eric Aubier, Ronald Romm, Frits Damrow, Kristian Steenstrup, Francisco Flores, Marco Pierobon, Fábio Brum, Adán Delgado, Roberto Bodí, Esteban Batallán, John Miller, Benjamín Moreno, Clément Saunier, José María Ortí, Jordi Albert, Spanish Brass…

Studied Conducting with José Rafael Pascual-Vilaplana, Bert Appermont, Alex Schillings, Franco Cesarini, Josep Vicent Egea, Peter Stark and Adolf Hennig.

Granted a scholarship by the Association “Moros Nuevos” for the Wind Band Conducting course in Villena in 2013.

Best Local Musician Prize at “Ruperto Chapí” Competition in 2009. Realized an Erasmus in Austria and won the Erasmus Quality Prize. Awarded with the brass quintet Levante 5ound Brass at “Valeriano Machí Esparza” and “Música Viva” Competitions.

1st Principal Trumpet at the Orquestra Clássica do Sul, Portugal, (www.ocs.pt) since January 2014, with which he played like soloist the Trumpet Concertos by Haydn, Hummel, Torelli and Vivaldi.Member of Orquesta Sinfónica del Teatro Chapí de Villena, OFUA (Orquesta Filarmónica de la Universidad de Alicante), JONDE (Joven Orquesta Nacional de España), Lucerne Festival Academy Orchestra, EUYO (European Union Youth Orchestra) and GMJO (Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester).Academist at Orquesta Nacional de España and at Orquesta Ciudad de Granada.

Finished Trumpet Bachelor and Trumpet Pedagogy Bachelor with Extraordinary Prize of Studies in both of them.Studies an Interpretation and Research Master at Alicante’s Superior Conservatory.

He also teaches at trumpet clinics, jazz, big band ensembles and chamber music for metals in Santa Fe, and cities of the interior of Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Paraguay.

His works as composer include music for film, theater, television and dance productions, plus themes and original arrangements that plays in two differents groups under his name: a jazz quintet and a string quartet plus trumpet.

Artistic Director of the Festival de Jazz de Santa Fe (1998-2012) and is currently co-organizer and teacher of the pedagogical collective Encuentro de Bronces and NEA Jazz Seminar.

Was Borned in Altea (Alicante) in 1991. At the age of eight he started to play the trumpet in the Conservatory of Altea, where he did the elementary and medium degree with the professor Juan Tomás Laviós, getting a mencion in the specialization of trumpet.

In 2009 he went to Barcelona to study in the Music High School of Liceum with the Professors Luís González and Josep Antoni Casado.
Since 2012 he gets classes with Pierre Badel (International Soloist) in Paris.
In 2013, after the music high school he did a pedagogic master to increase his pedagogic skills.
Actually he is doing a Master of trumpet in the “Hochschule für musik und Theater Felix Mehendelsonn Bartholdy” in Leipzig (Germany) with the Professor Guido Segers and he also get classes with the Brass academy (Alicante) teacher Rudi Korp.

He did masterclasses and courses with: Francisco “Pacho” Flores, Eric Aubier and Giuliano Sommerhalder among others.

He has a lot of experience in young Orchestras (Joven Orquesta Del Vallés, Jove Orquestra Dels Països Catalans) and in Professional Orchestras (Orquesta Sinfónica Del Vallés, Orquesta Barcelona Filarmonía).

He is Soloist of Orquesta Barcelona Filarmonía since 2010 and since 2013 the orchestra collaborates with the music group “RAGE” doing several tours around Europe.

Born in Terrassa, began his studies in his hometown with Alex Baiget.
Later extensive studies with Luis González and Josep Antoni Married at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu, simultaneously receives classes Jordi Albert Gargallo.

In 2012 began studying with Pierre Badel in Paris, combining with Master degree of interpretation in the UNIA. In the summer of 2014 participates actively in the course of trumpeters Pierre Badel in Liétor (Albacete).

He has received advice and master classes Allen Vizzutti, Frits Damrow, Reinhold Friedrich, Max Sommerhalder, Giuliano Sommerhalder, Pacho Flores, Kristian Streenstrup, Carlos Benetó, Juanjo Serna, among others.

He has played with many formations of different natures both orchestral and chamber and in areas of modern music. He has made numerous recordings of Catalan folk music with different formations.
He has performed at venues such as The Palau de la Música de Catalunya, l'Auditori, the Palau Güell as well as in numerous countries such as Spain, Poland and France.
It also combines his teaching career in different schools in Barcelona and Terrassa well as summer courses.

Born in a musical family in Paris (France), he starts playing cello at age 3.
He is quickly noticed by his teacher and often participates in classical music European meetings.
He joins a musical program while going to school and learns drums, bass and piano before starting playing guitar and trumpet.

He's performed in countries such as Italy (Torino classical music festival), the U.K (Trinity College of London), France (Maurice Ravel Opera house in Lyon, Macon Jazz Festival) and the United States (Chicago Symphony Center, Lincoln Hall, Caffé Vivaldi in New- York).

Having music theory and cello conservatory diplomas, he now attends the Bloom School of Jazz in Chicago under the mentorship of master David Bloom.

Permanent guitarist of the Merit School of Music Honors Combo, he is also part of the school's Big Band as a trumpeter.

Based in Chicago, he regularly plays for private events as well as concerts for various projects, in musical styles such as jazz, rock, pop, rap, electronic and classical. He is often solicited as a guitarist, a trumpeter, a composer and an arranger.

Geraldo Barbosa was born in Guimarães and at the age of eleven he started to play trumpet in the wind band of Caldas das Taipas.
When he was thirteen he enter in the conservatory of Braga with António Silva and later in the ESMAE (School of Music and Performing Arts of Porto) with Kevin Wauldron.
To complete his studies, he decides to go to Paris where he studied with Bruno Nouvion, Éric Aubier, Gérard Boulanger and Pierre Badel and in the last year he did Erasmus in San Sebastián to study with Luis González.

In Paris he played in some orchestras like Les Siecles, orchestra of UNESCO, orchestra of Palais Royal in the some of the famous concert halls and he played also in others countries like German, Italy and Spain.

Actually he is studying to obtain the “Diplôme d’État” to be a music teacher, and he gives private trumpet lessons.

Czech trumpeter Vit Otahal graduated at the Conservatory Brno in 2009. During the Bachelor degree at Janacek Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (JAMU Brno) he studied one year at the CRR Conservatoire Paris in the class of Guy Touvron.
For his education was also very important to meet other great french trumpeters and teachers - Thierry Caens, Eric Aubier, Pierre Badel, Sergei Nakariakov or Clément Saunier.
After graduation of Bachelor degree in 2012 he went in Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, where he finished the Master level in 2014.
Since that year he studies Doctor degree at JAMU Brno.

Since 2009 he plays on the position of Principal trumpet in the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bohuslav Martinů in Zlín and he also cooperates with other great czech symphonic orchestras - Brno Philharmonic, Czech Radio Orchestra (Prague), Prague Chamber Philharmonic, National Theatre Brno etc.
He playes regularly at the recitals - Paris, Hong Kong, Prague, Brno, Zlín, Pleven (Bulgaria).
He´s also performing like soloist with orchestras and organ - Oscar Bohme Concerto f minor, Andre Jolivet Concertino - Brno, G. F. Telemann Concerto in D major - Prague, Haydn Concerto Es major - Sydney (Mosman Symphony Orchestra), P.J.Vejvanovsky Sonatas - Zlín etc.

Vit Otahal took many prices at the competitions in Czech republic and his best price comes from the Brasswind International Competition in Brno 2011, where he won the first price and also absolut winner of trumpet category.

He is teaching now at JAMU Brno, Private Artistic Gymnasium in Brno and also he´s giving priváte lessons.
